    Event Information

    The weather forecast for Sunday morning is for Abundant Sunshine with temperatures in the low 60s, in other words: Perfect for a Run! 

    We will have a table at  the Brookline Marathon Sports in Washington Square from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 9/24Anyone picking up their bib or registering that day will get a 20% discount on all items at the store (excluding charity items and marked electronics). 

    The Brookline Symphony Orchestra is proud to announce its fifth 5K race fundraising event! It doesn't matter if you run allegro or walk andante, there will be fun for all on an easy flat course. The race will be Sunday September 25, 2016 at 10:00am located at the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. The course is 2 full loops around the Reservoir and will be timed by 3C Race Productions.
    • Live Music from members of the orchestra will be provided throughout the course.
    • Family Friendly: Baby joggers & strollers Welcome.
    • T-shirts: guaranteed to those registered before Sunday September 2.
    • The event will take place rain or shine.
    All proceeds go to the Brookline Symphony Orchestra (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization), to support our upcoming season.
    Registration Price $30 online until September 24 then $35 on site.
    T-shirts guaranteed to those registered before September 8.

    Registration/Check-in: 9:00 AM
    Onsite registration is $35.
    Run Start: 10:00AM
    Location: Chestnut Hill Reservoir, 2400 Beacon St., Brighton, MA 02135.
    Prizes for top 3 male and female finishers, top male and female wheelchair finishers, top male and female finishers of each age group, fastest team, largest team, and fastest stroller. 

    The registration area will be between the reservoir path and the parking lot of the Reilly Memorial Recreation Center on Beacon Street, just west of Cleveland Circle. Brookline Symphony Orchestra signage and music will greet you!
    The closest T stops are Cleveland Circle on the Green C line or Reservoir on the D line.
