Our Story

Created in the late 1950's, the Brookline Symphony Orchestra, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, thrived for many years, but went on hiatus in 2001. In 2010, a group of friends dedicated to bringing classical music to the community decided to revive the organization and make it an integral part of the Brookline community and beyond.

We need your support

To run an orchestra takes a tremendous amount of time, dedication, and money. We want to sustain our success through our current season and for years to come, and we need your help. Tax deductible donations from our patrons are the primary source of funding for this organization.

Come to our concerts. Share our information with your friends and family. You can connect with us easily through social media: "like us" on facebook, "follow us" on twitter and join our mailing list.
