2019 Concerto Competition

The Brookline Symphony is proud to announce the opening of the 2019 Concerto Competition. Please read on for details.

When: The competition will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019

Where: We will again be holding the competition at the Brookline Music School located at 25 Kennard Rd, Brookline.

Deadline: All applications are due by Friday, January 18, 2019

Applications will be reviewed after the application deadline and all applicants will be contacted by Monday, January 21, 2019. If your application is selected for an audition, you will receive an email regarding your schedule as well as information on how to pay the competition fee. Auditions are 10 minutes and you must have your own accompanist.

Fee: If your application is selected for an audition, you will receive an email with instructions to pay the $50 competition fee.

Repertoire: Your repertoire choice must be 30 minutes or less in length. Full pieces and individual movements are accepted. At this time, we are unable to accept double piano applications. Please note, the pieces listed below will not be accepted as they have been performed in recent years.
