Nicholas graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Music, where he was Assistant Concertmaster of the McGill Symphony Orchestra and Concertmaster of the McGill Contemporary Music Ensemble during his senior year. His group was a finalist in the 2015 McGill Chamber Music Competition, the winner of which was invited to perform at the Salzburg Music Festival. Nicholas attended Mannes Pre-college and was a member of the New York Youth Symphony which performed regularly in Carnegie Hall. He spent many summers at the Meadowmount School of Music in upstate New York, where his string quartet was selected to perform as part of the festival's summer concert series. Nicholas graduated from the University of Connecticut in the Spring of 2017 with a Masters in Mathematics and recently began work as an actuarial analyst in the greater Boston area.
