The Brookline Symphony Orchestra is a community ensemble involving instrumentalists of all ages from the Greater Boston area. All orchestra members except for the concertmaster are volunteers and are encouraged to participate in the financial support of the organization. The winds operate with a rotation system.
Rehearsals are held on Monday evening, weekly from 7:15 to 9:45pm, starting in mid September and ending late May at the Korean Church of Boston in Brookline Village. In addition, we hold a dress rehearsal the Saturday before the concert at All Saints Parish (our performance venue) in Washington Square, Brookline, MA. Full details about schedule and location are on this page.
