Kathryn Moore

Kathryn moved to Boston in August, 2018 from Seattle, Washington. She recently obtained a bachelors in violin performance from Western Washington University and plans to pursue a masters degree in performance and teaching. She began studying at The French American Conservatory of Music in Manhattan, NY at the age of four and solo debuted at Carnegie Hall in 2002. After moving to Washington state in 2004, she acquired Solo and Ensemble regional and state titles and was also a member of the All-State Washington Educators Association conferences throughout high school. During her undergraduate degree, she served as concertmaster in the Western Symphony Orchestra and was a violinist in the WWU Scholarship Quartet. After finishing her undergraduate studies, she lived in Seattle where she performed in the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra and was active in community chamber ensembles. She's currently settling into residency in Boston with her family and looks forward to being a part of the Brookline Symphony Orchestra.
