Aurelia started taking violin lessons at the age of six and was part of various student orchestras throughout high school in Stuttgart, Germany, where she grew up. She moved to the University of Konstanz, Germany, for her undergraduate degree in “Life Sciences” and joined the University orchestra there, eventually becoming the second violin principal. During her Master’s program she studied abroad at the University of Massachusetts Amherst for a year and joined the UMass Amherst Symphony Orchestra there. She just moved to Brookline to do her Master’s thesis in the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School and is excited to join the Brookline Symphony Orchestra for this season!
